The Eucharist and the Cross

Translation: Angels, stretch your chalice, receive this Precious Blood on the altar of My Sacrifice, spread it from the high places.

The Sacred Heart says:

When a soul has just received Me, it is no longer the soul which lives, it is My Divine Soul which comes into this soul. For Holy Communion, I take away the Christian's heart and I give him Mine instead. How good I feel in these souls and in these hearts! Every day, I would like to be able to live in this palace formed by my Love.

These are the Holy Communions of today which, in a time which is coming soon, when there will no longer be Holy Bread, no longer the Adorable Body to sustain the failing forces. It is the very Holy Communions of today which will give to my beloved souls the force and the courage to confront, in charity, the peril and the danger; but these souls will not lose. This sacred manna will lift them above the peril, and will hold them suspended above the danger.

These beloved souls will accomplish acts of devotion, even for those who have been their thorns. These thorns will have been My thorns, those which will pierce My Heart and those which already pierce It. There are, faithful and blessed souls, there are only your approaches, by Holy Communion, which can heal the stings, and relieve the pains.

Reflection on this Prophecy:

When we receive Holy Communion; that is, the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, we know that this is special.

Christ is coming to us, and, if we are given the grace, we sense Him in us, and our hearts and souls are filled with the quiet joy of His Presence.

But the title of this prophecy, as given in this book compiled by Father Roberdel, really does make us start up and take notice: “Receive Holy Communion . . . for What is Coming”.

“For what is Coming?!” we exclaim in shock. “We are already there!”

With the Catholic Church suffering in her time of Silence in Exile, we are living through the persecution, and we are not able to go to Holy Communion daily or even regularly.

Many of us hope for the Holy Sacraments once a year, perhaps twice. And each time we wonder if this is the last Holy Communion, the last time for the Holy Sacraments in our lifetimes.

So logically, but in dread, we ask, “Is there still more to come, a worse time of more sufferings than what we know today?”

And yes, this prophecy answers yes.

For there will be a time “when there will no longer be Holy Bread, no longer the Adorable Body to sustain the failing forces.”

The “failing forces”, a militaristic image, surely means the soldiers of the Catholic Church, who are her Priests.

They can be failing due to their joining with the general apostasy. Once Pope Gregory XVII is pushed aside and forced to dwell in the Silence of Exile for 31 years, the Priests around the world are no longer in communion with the True Pope, and they lose the life-sustaining Graces which come from the Holy Father, as the Vicar of Christ, down to the Princes (who are the Bishops) and then to the Priests.

Of course, it goes without saying that what the Priests no longer have to give, the people are no longer able to receive.

And if there is to come a time, when, indeed, the Faithful no longer have access to a Priest who is in communion with the Holy Father, Pope Gregory XVIII, or one of His Successors, then how are we to carry on?

And here, the Sacred Heart of Jesus reveals a Mystery to Marie-Julie: He tells her “It is the very Holy Communions of today which will give to my beloved souls the force and the courage to confront, in charity, the peril and the danger”.

God the Son, being outside of time, gives to us an ever-open channel to receiving Graces from the reception of Holy Communion through Marie-Julie and other holy Catholics of her time. Their Holy Communions for us will indeed give us “courage to confront, in charity, the peril and the danger”.

Surely it would please the Sacred Heart of Jesus that we unite ourselves with these “very Holy Communions”.

In the battles that we face, whether today or whenever they come, we are assured by the Sacred Heart that we will find the Salvation that we seek, since He says of us: “these souls will not lose.”

The snares which the devil and his demons set with which to trap us will not harm our souls, since “[t]his sacred manna will lift them above the peril, and will hold them suspended above the danger.”

So our connection to the “very Holy Communions” of Marie-Julie's time (1882) seems to be imperative. The Sacred Heart is revealing that Graces from these Holy Communions will sustain us in our times so that we can successfully do battle now and in whatever we face in the future.

And our prayers on behalf of sinners pleases the Sacred Heart of Jesus very much, for He says of us: “These beloved souls will accomplish acts of devotion, even for those who have been their thorns.”

Souls who are in sin and who persecute Pope Gregory XVIII and the Church in Exile, hurt not only us, the Faithful, but also hurt Christ our Lord, for He says of them: “These thorns will have been My thorns, those which will pierce My Heart”.

But we can relieve the Sufferings of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ our Lord, by offering up the Holy Communions that we do partake in, now, in union with the "very Holy Communions" of Marie-Julie and other holy Catholics of her time, for our spiritual needs (and the spiritual needs of others) during the time of no Holy Communions.

As well, we can make Spiritual Communions while we wait for the next opportunity to receive Holy Communion, and join our Spiritual Communions to Marie-Julie's and the other "very Holy Communions", so that the pains of the Sacred Heart may be alleviated:

There are, faithful and blessed souls, there are only your approaches, by Holy Communion, which can heal the stings, and relieve the pains.”

Let us alleviate our dearest Lord, in His Sufferings for us, and let us rejoice in this Divine Love which provides for our every need, both now and in the times to come.

And let us remember to pray the chaplet which honours the Sacred Wounds of Christ our Lord, begs for the conversion of poor sinners, and relieves the sufferings of the Holy Souls in Purgatory.

Deo gratias!
