The Church in Exile and The Three Days of Darkness
Sep. 28, 2018
As the special protector of the Church, Saint Michael the Archangel is also the protector of the Head of the Church, the Holy Father, Pope Gregorius XVIII.
According to Saint Alphonsus Liguori, veneration of the holy Angels, and particularly of Saint Michael the Archangel, is an outstanding sign of predestination.
The Prophecy:
Saint Michael bends his knee three times before the Lord, and the Lord presents him with a shining Cross which he accepts.
“My Lord, my King and my Master, I have already fought for the Cross, I will fight again for it. I prepare for the struggle and I propose, if the designs of Thy Will are such, to promptly overthrow the enemies of the Cross and to restore to the Cross its glory.”
The Divine Master raises a hand over the head of the Archangel, and He passes across the chest a golden banner which carries these words:
‘Here is the Divine Heart which has loved men and France so much.’
“My Master and my King,” replies Saint Michael, “I have already fought for the glory of Thy Divine Heart. I have carried Thy banner throughout all France, to say to this people that Thy Divine Heart is the only source of their happiness.”
--Holy Archangel, what have My people replied to you?
“I have found some men who have understood this devotion, and who have attached themselves to it. I have also found many enemies.”
--And what have My enemies told you?
“Lord, they have the design to overthrow Thy Cross, to tread upon Thy Sacred Heart with their feet and, in this way, to extinguish the devotion.”
--Holy Archangel, what do you request to develop devotion to My Sacred Heart?
“Lord, Lord, so that the devotion be revived, I request of Thee the favour to strike down the enemies of the Cross, of the Holy Church, and of Thy Sacred Heart.”
Our Lord does not answer. He says to His Mother, sitting near to Him:
--My Immaculate Mother, here is the great moment. I am going to speak to all of France. I want to show France My love, to have her recall My acts of generosity, and to have her remember her ancient glory due to My infinite power.”
Our Lord raises His eyes to Heaven three times:
“My Father,” He says, “I have already come to bring peace and love upon the earth. I am now going to call My people, and warn them that I am going to carry out Thy adorable orders.”
He takes a look at all of France, all around, as if He were looking at a rounded meadow. He goes on:
“My people, in the name of the Heavenly Father, obey your Lord and your God.” (29 September 1877)

Reflection on this prophecy:
As a celebration of the great Feast Day of Saint Michael the Archangel, September 29, we study his greatness as a loyal warrior of the Triune God. He kneels three times to honour each person of the Blessed Trinity.
Saint Michael wants to “promptly overthrow the enemies of the Cross and to restore to the Cross its glory.”
We know exactly how Christ and His Cross have been put aside:
As each year moves forward, we see always a more pervasive suppression of the acknowledgement of God, as most humans, with technology in hand, seek to abrogate all power to themselves.
What blindness of pride, what infinite ingratitude!
For truly, as Christ’s banner reminds us, it is His ‘Divine Heart which has loved men and France so much.’
Our sins crucified our Lord, true, but His Sacred Heart, out of Love, accepted the horrific and unmerited terms of our ransom.
And His Sacred Heart is “the only source of [our] happiness.”
Saint Michael has had the honour to carry this message throughout France and, no doubt, the world.
But those who love God are few, while His enemies are many, as Saint Michael reveals: “I have found some men who have understood this devotion, and who have attached themselves to it. I have also found many enemies.”
The enemies want to “overthrow” Christ by rejecting His Love and, indeed, His Divinity. Their goal is to have all men think of Christ like an ordinary man, and to laugh the Catholics to scorn. In this way they will be able “to tread upon [Christ’s] Sacred Heart with their feet and, in this way, to extinguish the devotion.”
With Catholics looking like gullible fools, and the Church seeming to be vile with corruption, what children and youth will want to embrace the Faith? Hardly any at all.
In this way, both Christ our Lord and His Cross have become either invisible or meaningless. His Sacred Heart is utterly rejected. This is the battle that we are waging today.
Saint Michael knows one way to restore the Truth of Christ’s Divinity to the multitudes: a show of the Divine Wrath through the death of Christ’s enemies.
He requests “the favour to strike down the enemies of the Cross, of the Holy Church, and of [Christ's] Sacred Heart.”
Hearing the truth of Saint Michael’s words, Christ recognizes that all has been done to save souls, and that the world has reached “the great moment.”
He tells His Blessed Mother that He will “speak to all of France. [He] want[s] to show France [His] love, to have her recall [His] acts of generosity, and to have her remember her ancient glory due to [His] infinite power.”
This one last act of Divine Love may very well be the miraculous triumph of the French Monarch, and his smaller army.
They will carry out their battles under the banner of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, fighting against the much larger armies of anti-christ, but they will win and liberate France.
In another prophecy, Marie-Julie relates to us that the French Monarch's miraculous triumph will extend outside of France also, and that his actions will "withdraw the whole world from the domination of the devil".
Those who will see in this miraculous intervention the proof of Christ's Divinity will be saved, but those who will still not convert, will truly bear the guilt of the sin of their disbelief.
This prophecy indicates that after this last Divine act of Merciful Love, the Divine Chastisements will come. Sadly, many, many people will die in their sins.
God the Son finally agrees to punish the ungodly, as per God the Father’s orders: “I am now going to call My people, and warn them that I am going to carry out Thy adorable orders.”
And we who know the prophecies of the coming great Chastisement from the visions of approved Catholic mystics and saints, wait and pray for conversions. Prayer and penance is what we can do for souls to receive the graces to convert.
For now, Christ is still saying, “My people, in the name of the Heavenly Father, obey your Lord and your God.”
Saint Michael, pray for us!
