PUNISHMENT WAS WRITTEN DOWN, Part I

The Flame of the Holy Ghost says:

“When the divine Messiah showed forth upon earth, it was a real rejoicing and the world was assured of its salvation. The Messiah was bringing with Himself joy, hope, faith, and, above all, that great light which was to enlighten the world and penetrate intelligences.

“But a terrible punishment was then recorded in the unfathomable designs of the Saviour of the world. That punishment was by reason of the blindness of people and of the coldness of confidence in the One who realises all gifts in Heaven and on earth.

“Such will be the explosion of punishment by the Saviour of the world, the approach to terrible misfortunes which will cause everything to suffer.

“Friends of the Lord, pay attention to this word: I do not say one misfortune, but immense pains and sorrows, an unspeakable blending of all kinds of desolations. All of which are very close to touching upon earth, and most of all upon men.

“That terrible punishment, written down by the Saviour of the world, must happen during the years ending the century. The standstill has arrived: the punishment will not be postponed further on. The Lord has allowed the fall into that terrible blindness. Such blindness had to happen before Heaven and earth, both together have but one single voice of distress, tears and wailing.

“The punishment will spread out its explosion. Faithful people, any day henceforth, await the Lord’s hour, and also the hour of the earth, because the hour of the earth will be still more formidable than the one of Heaven. Mercy is to be found up above; here, on earth, hatred is un-appeasable and merciless.”

Reflection on this prophecy:

Marie-Julie had her divine prophecies communicated to her through a ball of fire which would appear. Voices from Heaven spoke to her through this ball of light, and future events were shown to her.

In this next series of prophecies, the topic is the divine Punishment, the beginning of which we are living today.

God’s Punishment begins with irreligion, caused by spiritual blindness:

“[T]he blindness of people and of the coldness of confidence in the One who realises all gifts in Heaven and on earth.”

In other words, people either do not realise that their confident prayers do oblige God to act with love or they do not believe that God even exists and therefore they do not bother to pray at all.

Having confidence in the love of our Creator requires knowing Him personally, through daily and frequent communications.

It is ironic that people today are so dependent on their text communications with loved family and friends but these same people never think to share their joys and woes with their loving Creator!

People risk radiation to their heads and keep their cell phones next to their pillows every night, just in case someone calls or texts, but it never occurs to them to have ‘pillow talk’ with the Sacred Heart of Jesus, our Heavenly Mother or their Guardian Angel.

What misery, what poverty to face all of the “immense pains and sorrows” of today without sharing our confidences with He who made us and watches over us!  

Death or discord will remove our parents and other loved ones from our lives, but Jesus Christ is always present and He suffers along with us, and will comfort us with a deep, abiding peace.

John, the Apostle of love, wrote down what Jesus Christ promised about the peace He gives to His friends:  

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)
